My passion lies in treating difficult cases. It brings me great pleasure to help people who have not been able to find relief through either traditional western medicine or other alternative therapies. With my background in both Western and Oriental medicine, I consider both perspectives when approaching my patient’s concerns. This allows me to provide well rounded treatments as well as recognize issues that need to be referred back into the western medical system.

My specialty is a unique Trigger Point Therapy utilizing acupuncture learned while studying in China. This technique is known to instantly relieve pain and improve range of motion. Trigger points can occur anywhere in the body and are defined as areas in the muscles that no longer function properly. This leads to gnawing discomfort and pain which can disrupt a healthy, happy lifestyle. In addition to Trigger Point Therapy (aka “Dry Needling”), I also successfully treat anxiety, insomnia, and stress issues with a combination of acupuncture and herbal therapies as well as the FDA cleared Alpha-Stim® device. MY EXPERIENCE

Allison earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware and studied at both Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City and The International Training Centre in Beijing, China before graduating from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado with a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is nationally board certified and licensed to practice acupuncture in Colorado by the state Department of Regulatory Agencies. She is also a nationally board certified Herbalist, earning a Diplomat in Chinese Herbal Medicine from the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
